Today let’s fill that up with Ecofoam Fill ‘Em Up.

FAQ time!

*Can Ecofoam Fill ‘Em Up seal leaks?

– It depends on what you are trying to seal.  Ecofoam Fill ‘Em Up can seal and prevent air leakage. Sealing gaps and holes also help keep tiny ants and other insects from entering the building.

On the other hand, if you are trying to seal water or liquid leaks, then-No. Ecofoam Fill ‘Em Up is polyurethane expanding foam and is not meant to be constantly and directly in contact with water. Though Ecofoam is fine being exposed to occasional water exposure such as rain when applied outdoors, constant contact with water such as on leaks, pools, or any stagnant water is not where you can use Ecofoam Fill Em up.

*Does Ecofoam Fill ‘Em Up provides good adhesion?

– Generally yes. Ecofoam Fill ‘Em Up expanding polyurethane foam has good adhesion to most common surfaces or building materials such as brick, concrete, plaster wood, glass, metals, rigid PVC, and PU. Other materials like PE, PP, and Teflon are the exception.

*Is it necessary to moisten the surface before using Ecofoam Fill ‘Em Up?

– Ecofoam Fill ‘Em Up requires moisture to expand and cure. Misting the area of application will help the foam expand and cure faster. This type of expanding polyurethane foam sealant won’t stick well to a dry surface.
