Ecofoam Spray Polyurethane Foam Insulation

Ecofoam Spray Polyurethane Foam (SPF) is an air-driven, two-component mixture that is sprayed into a substrate to be insulated and instantly forms into rigid foam with excellent adhesion and secondary structural support to the substrate itself. Ecofoam SPF is also used to improve air quality inside domestic households and commercial establishments because the foam inhibits air intrusion that may carry pollutants and moisture that can result to water condensation and molds. Ultimately, Ecofoam SPF is best known and used to lower costs significantly in electrical consumption from HVAC (heating ventilation and air for most establishments.
TYPES OF INSULATION
Thermal Insulation
Ecofoam’s main purpose is to reduce heat to pass through either from outside or inside of our homes, tanks, pipes, etc. It has the highest R-value making it more effective if applied on comparing to using other insulation materials. With proper application and right thickness, insulation efficiency could be more than 40%. It is available on spray and pouring applications and can be applied either on the exterior or interior.
Interior
Ecofoam application on the inside can also use closed cell type. It is usually applied on under the roof or on the walls reducing heat passage and prevents air infiltration thereby providing comfort to occupants in their homes. The applied foam is less in maintenance as it is not directly exposed to the adverse attacks of the outside environment. This system is also seen in cold storage applications such as vans and warehouses or on other establishments.
