EcoFoam Polyurethane Foam Insulation

Ecofoam Polyurethane Foam Insulation

ECOFOAM is a two component, closed-cell spray applied polyurethane foam insulation material having highest thermal resistance value among readily available insulation materials, designed as a structural insulation system for commercial, residential and industrial application. It is comprised of diisocyanate and a blended component which includes polyols, fire retarding materials, catalysts, stabilizers and non-ozone depleting blowing agent.

Typical Foam Properties

DENSITY @ 1 INCH THICKNESS ~ 40-50 kg/m3
COMPRESSIVE STRENGTH ~ 0.19 MPa (~1.87 atm)
THERMAL RESISTANCE (R-Value) 6.9 per inch (ASTM C-518)

Why Use Ecofoam Polyurethane Insulation

Improves Structural Strength

Increase wall racking strength by 330 – 400%. Properties of strong adhesion, lack of fasteners, and absence of joints and edges provides remarkable resistance to high wind uplift and blow off. Durable and provides long term performance.

Closed-Cell Properties

It effectively blocks all heat transfer methods – conduction, convection and radiation as well as air-infiltration, air-intrusion, and moisture accumulation. provides effective ways to make our environment greener and healthier.

Environmentally Responsible

It can be applied to an existing roof eliminating costly tear-off and reducing land fill disposals. Promotes energy conservation by providing the highest R-value insulation, eliminates thermal shorts, control air movement and moisture transport.

Healthier Surroundings

The use of Ecofoam Polyurethane Insulation can help provide a healthy indoor air quality. Its seamless feature helps prevent moisture, dust, pollutants, and other harmful bacteria from penetrating the structure.

Features, Advantages and Benefits

Closed cell and Open cell Properties

Hassle-free Installation

  • It expands and seals multiple penetrations eliminating the use of additional flashing materials
  • Saves time and money spending for flashing material installation and buying of this products.

It cures less than 5 minutes

  • Could cover a minimum of 150 square meters per day per machine
  • It does not disrupt other ongoing activities especially during above roof application (closed cell)

Increases structural Integrity

  • Weighs approximately 1kg / m2
  • It will not cause additional stress to the roofing system
  • Provides comforting ambience

Prevents the spread of fire

  • Practically fire safe
  • Best for electrical insulation
  • Improves Human safety

Unlimited Application Possibilities

  • Can be applied above and below roof, wall, cold van storage, pipe cladding and secondary containment
  • Other applications are floor, boat hull, floatation, tank insulation or corrosion protection
  • Reduces wind uplift

Multiple procedures by which task is accomplished

  • Can be either be applied through spray, injection or pouring type of application
  • Can cater either big project or Do-It-Yourself (DIY) use
  • Can suit a lot of Polyurethane foam application
