ECOFOAM FILL 'EM UP
Ecofoam Fill 'Em Up
Ecofoam Fill’ Em Up (FEU) is a multifunctional polyurethane foam which is mono-component type hardened with the aid of moisture. It fills gaps, holes, vacant spaces and cracks as it expands upon application preventing passage of insects and air which carries heat, moisture and dirt. It is handy; contained in a canister of 420mL and 750mL. It can be applied using an accessory adapter or gun. It is fire rated suitable to use to various establishments.
PRODUCT VARIANTS
There are two variants of FEU Ecofoam to choose from; the regular 420 mL and the bigger 750 mL volume. These two have a notable difference in their capability to retard fire; the larger one is B1 fire-rated which is better than the regular B3 rated. Both are used to fill holes and joints; moisture-cure and dual type – can be applied using either adapter or gun. Color output for B1 is tangerine and B3 is yellow.
Regular
The REGULAR FEU FOAM is 420 mL in volume. It has fire retardation property thereby applicable to use in different areas. This is polyurethane expanding foam that cures by the absorption of water vapor from the air. Applying 40-50% into holes or cracks is enough to cover the whole area as it expands in less or an hour. It is CFC and HCFC-free (zero ozone-depleting potential).

FEATURES, ADVANTAGES & BENEFITS
Accurately Controlled Application (Dual Type)
Ecofoam allows precise control of foam dispensing for filling small gaps and cracks. An adapter or gun could be used for dispensing more or less the right amount needed.
Energy Efficient
Flashes over multiple penetrations and seals holes and gaps evenly that reduces draft, noise, and provide comfort. Impedes the entry of insects and pests and also reduces heating and air-conditioning load.
Fast Application Rate
No preparation needed and is applied straight from the canister. The spray system reduces the cost by saving application time with no wastage at all.
Excellent Adhesion
Ecofoam is self-flashing and offers 100% adhesion. This enables the foam to grip the building walls, thereby holding tight in the face of high winds. (Except oily or waxy substrates)
Thermal, Water and Chemical Resistant
After cure, ecofoam fill em up is resistant to temperature so there will be no shrinkage as time passes by. It does not affect the foam after exposed to water and can be painted because it is chemical resistant.
Eco-friendly
Ecofoam is CFC free and does not use blowing agents that are deteriorative to the ozone layer and far safer than other PU foam canister. Thus, this is safe to use and worry-free when applied.
Fire Rated
ECOFOAM FILL EM UP B1 is a B1 fire rated variant of the Ecofoam line of products. It is still a mono-component spray polyurethane foam that has the same insulating, air-sealing and adhesive properties but comes ina 750ml canister. This provides comfort to the occupants when applied on houses properly as it prevents passage of unnecessary particles and is better than the regular fire rated B3 in fire retardation. An amount of 80% fill into a crack works as it expands covering the whole. The same with regular, it is CFC and HCFC-free (zero ozone depleting potential).

B1 Fire Rating Passed
It is certified fire-rated PU foam (DIN4102 – B1 Pass German Standard); suitable for filling, sealing and insulation of joints and gaps in a variety of fire-rated construction applications.
Moisture Curing System
Fast Application Rate
No preparation needed and is applied straight from the canister. The spray system reduces the cost by saving application time with no wastage at all.
The system only needs water to cure. You just have to moisten the surface and spray it on the area. Important note: there is a risk of post-expansion when not moistened properly, which means that the foam will harden out in the first few days. After a while, the uncured foam will react with moisture and you’ll get post-expansion

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
APPLICATIONS FOR ECOFOAM 'FILL EM UP
-
Remove dust, oil or contaminants from the area to be filled and then apply tapes to protect the surrounding area.
-
Shake well and load adapter into the can.
-
Turn canister upside down. Depress the trigger of the gun/adapter to apply.
-
Adjust volume of the foam by controlling the adjustment screw at the back of the gun.
-
Apply only 40% on Adaptor type or 50% on Gun type in the space to be filled because the foam will expand from 150 – 200 % upon using adaptor while 50 – 100% on gun type.
-
Apply finishing touches or decorations on the sprayed foam before it hardens. When the foam is hardened use knife or saw to remove the excess hardened foam.
-
Clean the foam gun, nozzle and valves by using the special cleaner. Remove any unhardened foam that has flowed out.
STORAGE DIRECTIONS
-
Avoid direct sunlight. Do not store the product in places with a temperature of 40°C or higher.
-
Do not store the product in an enclosed area.
-
Do not store the product lying on its side. Place it upright.
-
Do not throw in the fire after use.
-
When empty, spray out the remaining gas left inside the can.
-
Separate from other general waste during waste disposal.
